Writing the ‘screenplay’ for your life

[Audio Version]

Last Sunday while I was strolling around the Salvador Dali Museum in Spain, I was thinking about how much my life has changed in the past 18-months.

A year and a half ago I was living on the Gold Coast in Australia and living a typical kind of life in the suburbs. But what I desired was something quite different.

Back in February 2015, I described in written word a picture of how I desired my day to day life to be. I was prompted to do this activity as part of an online group program I was enrolled in. Here are some of the notes I made …

  • I regularly go to art galleries, museums, cultural events and festivals
  • I feel really supported by the universe and those around me
  • I get to just show up, be myself, and witness the value others receive when I do that.
When I wrote these things down they were not part of my everyday life.

I didn’t feel supported by the universe.

I didn’t feel like I could just ‘show up’ and be me.

And I very rarely had the opportunity to go to art galleries, museums or cultural events.

Today, all of these things are part of my reality … could this be because I wrote them down?

Harvard University conducted a study to find out what leads to success in career and life, here is what they found …

  • 84% of people had no specific goals at all
  • 13% had goals but they were not committed to paper
  • 3% had clear, written goals and plans to accomplish them
I have to admit that yes I wrote my desires down, yes they were clear … but I didn’t have a plan to achieve them!

Nevertheless they have been realised!

So lovely Reader, I imagine you have some strong desires for what you want your life to look like … but have you written them down?

And if you have written them down then you can supercharge your manifesting power by taking some time each day to ‘feel’ what it’s going to be like when you realise these goals.

I’d love to hear how you go with this!
